JV Arroyo Grande Eagles finish 3 - 2 in League play

Eagles, That was an awesome game last night (11-8-2007) You came back to take the lead and were driving in the 4th quarter to win the game. Excellent passing and great running, a 95 yard kick-off return.

This has been a great season. Watch out next year, you all will RULE!!

Another week another win, Way to be Eagles!! You were the clear winners in this game. There was some great passing and a starting kick-off return to their 5 yard line that set the tempo for the game. Your team is climbing and I can't wait for next year!!

AG vs Paso Robles

Another fine win for the JV Eagle team from Arroyo Grande. Way to go!! This game showed some great defense as well as some great running and passing, Escobedo went down with a leg injury, but we kept pounding the ball on the ground to set up some great passing. Only Two games left!!1 Where did the season go??? I'll miss going to the games.

Fun Game!!

That was a FUN game!! It looks like our offense was on track and the defense was tackling...It all seemed to come together at the right time! We took this one from Lompoc and never looked back! There was some great passes and some awesome running, But I think the defdense stepped up and took care of business, WAY TO GO!!

Close calls in AG loss to San Marcos - 10-4-07

That was another Great game Eagles!! You won the game everywhere but the scoreboard and you should be flying high!! Great passing, great running...Everyone did a great job!
Sorry about the quality of the photos, but I have a small digital camera and when it gets dark I can't take pictures. Maybe next year I can afford to upgrade??

AG Eagles beat up on Washington Eagles 34 - 7

Now that was a fun game!! Way to go AG Eagles...34 - 7. If you have to play on a Saturday that is the way to do it. We started running and they couldn't catch up. A real nice pass for a touchdown was great also!! The Defense was really swarming and they couldn't get anything going...Again, congrats on a great game!!!

St. Joseph Pounds us!!

Ouch...There were a few good plays tonight. We tried everything in the book, but they kept running it right at us. They got alot of breaks and everything seemed to go their way. Oh Well...It was a learning experience for us all!!

Next week is a Saturday game at 4pm at AGHS, and we will all be there to cheer them on again!! See you there...

8-31-2007 Arroyo Grande Eagle JV football Report:
Aptos (Santa Cruz) 14 AG Eagles 6
Looks like the mariners brought the refs with them, Our quarterback was sacked with his arm moving forward and they called it a fumble. Aptos picks it up and ran for a TD. The Eagles were definitely the best team on the field, they were the only ones moving the ball consistently. Eagles should have been the victors in this one.

9-7-2007 - The JV team traveled to Pioneer Valley (east Santa Maria) to play the Panthers. This was a great stadium and we almost won again! We were outscored 18-16. Tyler Slocum had a great kicking day, we need to see more of him!! Landan was all offense today and had some great tackles!
